Anglican Care

Anglican Care┬árecently had the pleasure of hosting a visit from management and nursing staff from the Chengdu Chronic Diseases Hospital in China. Organised by Novaskill, the visit was to showcase some of Anglican Care’s residential homes and explain the Australian aged care system to our Chinese visitors. The aged care system in China is expected to grow significantly over the next 10 years and our visitors advised that China will require 10 million more staff by the year 2020 wherein China’s population is expected to be 1.4 billion, of which 248 million people will be aged 60 years and above!

Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College

Last week the courageous Kindergarten students attended ‘Pirate School’. They were presented at the beginning of the end with their ‘pirate papers’ by Captain Morelli. Throughout the day, the pirate crew had to complete a variety of challenges to prove their worth as Pirate Captains. At the end of the day, the pirates were successfully presented and announced as Captains!
