October 13: Morpeth Quiet Day – Knowing My Place: Another Look at Humility

Christ Church Cathedral together with the Company of Servers invite members of the wider Diocesan family and friends to share with the Parish of Morpeth a Quiet Day.
The Quiet Day will be led by the Rev’d Martin Davies, Priest in Charge at Stroud, on the topic “Knowing My Place: Another Look at Humility“, with two addresses, a meditation and the Eucharist.
The first address will take place in the St James’ hall at 10.30am after morning tea. Morning tea and a lunch of soup, damper and fruit will be provided by the St James’ Guild, with “silent” and “talking” areas during lunch
There will be time to enjoy the peaceful surrounds.

Venue: St James’ Church, Cnr of Tank and High Streets, Morpeth
Cost: $10 per person
Bring a Bible, writing materials, and a jacket or wrap to wear in the church if needed.
