Welcome to Newcastle Anglican

Formally known as the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, Newcastle Anglican is a leading faith-based organisation, serving the people of the Hunter and the Central Coast.

Anglican Care is dedicated to providing quality aged care services including home care, retirement living, and residential aged care. Our social justice service, Samaritans, offers life-changing support and advocacy to youth and those in need. Newcastle Anglican Schools invest in children and young people and offer a holistic approach to education.
We have two early childcare centres and four schools. Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College, Lakes Grammar School, Manning Valley Anglican College, and Scone Grammar educate a combined 3,000 students.

Newcastle Anglican’s vision is for people to flourish because of what we do, inspired by the way of Jesus.

Our Apology and Accountability

Newcastle Anglican recognises that children were harmed while participating in activities associated with the Diocese. The Bishop and Synod express their sincere and deep apology to every survivor. We are accountable for the safety of others. We are committed to the processes of redress and survivor support.

Newcastle Anglican is one of the 23 Dioceses of the Anglican Church of Australia.
