The Taree parish community recently hosted a four-part series called Journeys of Faith.
There were two ideas behind it: one was discipleship and the other was evangelistic.

The series aimed to provide a thoughtful space to discuss some of the cultural questions that increasingly shape conversations about faith, such as science, history, gender, sexuality, identity, and belonging.
People who saw these as barriers to faith could hear authentic stories and discover that Christian faith was often far more open, human, gracious, and hope-filled than they expected.
Guest speakers from diverse backgrounds were invited to share the various ways they had sought to follow Jesus through the realities of their own lives.
They spoke honestly about their struggles and doubts.
Their stories were ultimately full of grace, purpose, and hope.
They hadn’t found easy answers, but they had found reasons to keep trusting Jesus.
The series produced an encouraging response.
Attendees spoke of gaining new understandings, greater empathy, and becoming more comfortable engaging with different perspectives.
